![]() ![]() Most well paired with MoM, LR, AAS in farming. Couples very well with Penitence and Revitalize elixir, and tends to outperform everything in those situations. Uniquely, it's also the best in slot soloing trait for CAV because of how its stats work.Īcheron is extremely niche but extremely powerful when used in the right situations. PWD has extremely niche uses and should be generally avoided.Īrcana's Concerto can be thought of as an Awe Blast variant- useful in longer fights or low HP mobbing for consistency, despite having a lower DPS ratio. In groups, other traits will be preferred. In those situations, it tends to outperform Spiral Carve and Awe Blast, but will generally not outperform Valiance. Smite is exclusively useful on soloing classes where your 5 cooldown is 15 seconds or in decreasing increments of that value (~7.5, ~5, ~3). The farming exception is that it's meta on YnR for farming in 2 or 3 mob situations. More of a QoL enh and usually used to hit thresholds, rather than DPS. classes with a 2 cooldown shorter than 4 seconds, OR if you really want the hit consistency on classes. Lacerate is almost exclusively useful on soloing. Useful but not the best on classes where it can ease up the rotation, such as UOK, CSP, SWoT. Valuable on classes like AF vs tough mobs, FDW, NCM, etc. Mana Vamp and Health Vamp are both irreplaceable when you absolutely need the resources, and Elysium tends to be out of reach for most people. This is also useful in groups if you're not a primary DPS class. But this is generally less applicable, since those kinds of classes run lower risks of oneshot autos. It can also be used for soloing when a class really wants more crit chance, but that's rarer now with helmet enhancements.Īwe Blast is another pick for farming when the situation above appears and a class does not need crit chance. The crit chance adds a lot to consistency. Use this when your aa's on Valiance hit high enough to skip procs. Spiral Carve is generally second place for farming. As well, also applicable on Physical classes that lack these, such as BMA and FDW, because its damage is physically calculated. It's also liked by DoT based classes with fast 3's, because of how DoTs interact with all out. Valiance is preferred by classes that don't lack in resources, such as VHL, LR, SS, etc.Įlysium is preferred by magic classes that do lack in resources in any way, or have a very fast 3 cooldown, such as RBM, AAS, Daimon, etc. In general, Valiance and Elysium are the most preferred for both farming and soloing. (Elysium on LoO doesn't work, for example) If the trait targeting and your skill targeting aren't the same, the trait will not activate. The "best" traits are only a bit better than the other traits in most situations, so don't feel too bad if you don't have them Traits will not proc if the skill used to proc them kills the monster, but will still go into cooldown For the most part, this is a quick guide and won't dive into the most deepest part of this. ![]()
